How the Marketplace Seller mobile app handles your data

Marketplace Seller ("the App") is published by Pro Comrades for Computer Activities Co. W.L.L. ("Pro Comrades", "we", "us"), an Odoo Silver Partner based in Kuwait. This policy describes what data the App handles and how.
Plain-English summary
Marketplace Seller is a mobile dashboard for brands and sellers on a marketplace. It lets you view your products, POS / eCommerce sales, stock, payouts, KYC documents and disputes — and lets you upload KYC paperwork and bank-account details for payout.
All data is fetched from and sent to the marketplace's own Odoo 19 server — the same server the marketplace operator already runs. Each marketplace customer hosts their own Odoo instance; the App talks to one server, chosen by you at login.
Pro Comrades does not host a shared backend and does not collect your data. Nothing is sold to anyone.
1. Who is the data controller
The marketplace operator (the company running the Odoo instance you connect to) is the data controller for the data you see and submit in the App. They decide what data to keep and how long. Pro Comrades is a software vendor; we do not host the marketplace's database and we do not receive copies of your data.
For data-access, correction, or deletion requests, contact the marketplace operator directly. Pro Comrades cannot delete data on your behalf because we do not hold it.
2. What the App handles, and why

We do not collect: your contacts, calendar, photo library at large, microphone audio, precise or background location, health data, advertising identifier, or browsing history. We do not integrate any analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs.
3. Permissions Marketplace Seller requests, and what we do with them

We do not request: location (foreground or background), microphone, contacts, calendar, motion, health, full photo-library access, or any tracking-related permission. No "Allow Tracking" prompt is shown.
You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS / Android settings. The App will gracefully degrade — KYC document scan will be disabled if Camera is revoked, etc. — but the rest of the dashboard continues to work.
4. Third-party services

Marketplace Seller does not integrate analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude), advertising networks, attribution / measurement SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs (no Crashlytics, no Sentry, no Bugsnag).
5. Data retention
- The server URL, session token, and language preference live on your device until you log out or uninstall the App.
- Operational data (products, sales, stock, payouts, KYC documents, bank-account info, disputes) is held by the marketplace's Odoo server. Retention there is governed by the marketplace operator's policy.
- Pro Comrades does not retain any copy of your data on any backend we control, because there is no such backend.
When you log out or uninstall the App, locally-stored credentials and preferences are deleted.
6. Children
Marketplace Seller is not directed to anyone under 18. It is intended for adults who are registered as sellers on a marketplace.
7. International transfers
Operational data goes only to the marketplace's Odoo server. The marketplace operator chooses where that server is hosted and is responsible for cross-border-transfer compliance.
The push-notification channel routes through Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) infrastructure, and on iOS additionally through Apple (APNs). Both are global services; the data routed through them is limited to the FCM / APNs token and the short notification title and body.
8. Your rights and how to delete your data
For records held by the marketplace (your seller profile, KYC docs, sales history, payouts, bank-account info, disputes): contact the marketplace operator. They are the controller and they can delete, export, or correct your data.
For the small amount of data Marketplace Seller stores on your device (server URL, session token, language): use Settings → Logout in the App, or uninstall the App, to delete all of it.
Pro Comrades cannot action data-deletion requests directly — we don't have your data. If you don't know who your marketplace operator is or cannot reach them, you can email info@procomrades.com and we will help you identify the right contact.
9. Security
- All API traffic uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
- Session tokens and server URLs are stored using iOS Keychain / Android Keystore.
- The App does not embed any cryptographic backdoors or third-party tracking SDKs.
- The App requests only the OS permissions strictly needed for KYC scan and push notifications.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, prompt you in-app on next launch.
